Social Media | Weighing of dumplings

What looks like potatoes at first glance, are actually dumplings. Bread dumplings with semolina – as it is eaten especially in Bavaria with pleasure! 😋

Compared to our last test, when we weighed spaetzle, the dumplings are significantly heavier. This results in a 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 for the product, which must be prevented at all costs! The reduction of the drop height therefore plays a significant role with this product. ☝️

Compared to a radial multihead weigher, only a significantly lower height has to be overcome with our linear weigher. After weighing, the product is transported to the center of the timing hopper via two counter-rotating conveyors. Here they can be 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 to the packaging machine.

During the last test, 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝘆-𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 was also required: only 4 dumplings may be contained in each pack. At the same time, the 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟲𝟬𝗴 should be reached as precisely as possible. With 𝟰𝟯 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲, we can proudly say that this requirement was no challenge for the MULTIPOND linear weigher! 💪

This test proves once again that sensitive products are protected in the best possible way by our MPL linear weigher. For fruit and cookies, among other things, this weighing system is a real game changer! 🍏🍓🍪
