Fines Deposition

Precise weighing is crucial for high-value products. ☝️However, a few preparations should be made before the product is placed on the weigher.

Dried mushrooms, for example, have a very high proportion of fines. These tiny particles must be removed before the weighing process in order to provide the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 possible and significantly 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲. But how can this be achieved? 🤔

One of our long-standing customers now wants to modify their MULTIPOND weighing system. The existing multihead weigher is to be equipped with a new cross head feeder. Through collaborative testing with the customer, we experimented with various fines deposition methods to discover the optimal solution for diverse products.

>> In order to have as little product overlap as possible and to be able to discharge as many particles as possible, the cross head feeder is built with a width of 4000 mm.

>>A fines deposition system is installed before the product even reaches the cross head feeder.

>>The product is then conveyed over an edge so that it rotates automatically and as many particles as possible are separated.

>>Two fines depositions are then installed one after the other. This method ensures that the product is transported over the longest distance feasible, maximizing the separation of fines along the way.

>>As soon as the product is conveyed from the cross head feeder to the distribution cone of the multihead weigher, fine particles can rise up. This cloud will be evacuated in the future – we will be happy to supply you with the device for this!

All fines deposition units have a quick-release mechanism so that they can be exchanged quickly and easily. Blanking plates can also be used if no fines deposition is required. This grants customers 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗯𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀.
