Ben jij iemand die graag zelfstandig werkt en geïnteresseerd is in techniek? Wij zijn op zoek naar versterking binnen ons serviceteam in Eindhoven.

Dit ga je doen:
Je houdt je bezig met het onderhoud, oplossen van storingen, opstellen, installeren en certificeren van onze weeg- en doseersystemen. Ook ben je verantwoordelijk voor de rapportages.
Er wordt van je verwacht te reizen op werkdagen en mee te draaien in de storingsdienst. Een paar keer per maand blijf je ergens overnachten.

Dit ben jij:
Je hebt minimaal een MBO opleiding Electro, Mechatronica of Werktuigbouwkunde of aantoonbare ervaring. Je bent zelfstandig, flexibel, contactueel sterk, klantgericht en denkt graag in oplossingen.
Je beheerst de Duitse en/of Engelse taal, kennis van het Frans is een pré en je bent in het bezit van rijbewijs B.
Heb je nog geen VCA- of heftruck-certificaat? Dan bieden we je de opleiding daarvoor aan.

Dit zijn wij:
MULTIPOND levert industriële weeg- en doseersystemen. Vanuit onze vestiging in Eindhoven regelen we de verkoop, het onderhoud en de revisie van onze machines voor de Benelux en het grensgebied van Duitsland. Onze systemen worden voornamelijk toegepast in de foodindustrie.

Job purpose:
Provide start-up services, technical support, operator & maintenance training and emergency service support to MULTIPOND equipment customers. Provide technical assistance to MULTIPOND Sales staff and Manufacturer’s representative’s in conducting customer product trials and in defining project scope of supply.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise customers and their contractor’s in the satisfactory installation of MPA equipment in customer’s plants per MPA engineering specifications and in a safe and expedient manner.
  • Provide start-up service for all MPA equipment at customer plants in a safe and expedient manner.
  • Provide operator, maintenance, and electrician’s training on the safe operation and repair of MPA equipment.
  • Provide detailed service reports and documentation on the machine operating parameters and documentation of people trained on the safe operation of the MPA equipment.
  • Provide documentation of any outstanding issues that need resolution to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for handling assigned Service requests and resolving Service and Part Issues to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Creation of training documentation specific for customers as well as updating current established documentation used in various forms
  • Provide customer phone support while in-house and or “On-call” rotation
  • Follow-up with customers on service activities to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation of any outstanding issues that need resolution to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Provide a weekly report of unresolved customer service and parts issues.
  • Perform job duties as outlined in separate Essential Duties and Functions document.

These responsibilities may be adjusted or added to at any time.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 or 4-year degree or relevant job experience
  • Valid driver license
  • Qualify for or possess US Passport – Foreign travel possible into Germany, Canada and Mexico
  • Experience in equipment operations and repairs. In food manufacturing a plus
  • Engineering education or background a plus for performing duties.
  • Average or better computer and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Mechanical aptitude, proficient with hand tools
  • Familiar with use of basic electrical testing equipment, multimeter

Working conditions:
Frequent travel required in vehicles or airplane with overnight stays to provide assigned service for customers usually at customer sites. (up to 80%) Regular weekday work scheduled between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm with some infrequent evening or weekend work required to meet customer needs. Working in office environment remainder of time with heavy computer use.

Physical requirements:

Successful employees must have the ability to perform all of the following physical activities safely in controlled temperature environments of various food processing/packaging venues:

  • Climbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
  • Balancing. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.
  • Stooping. Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist.
  • Kneeling. Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Crouching. Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
  • Crawling. Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
  • Reaching. Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Standing. Occasional standing for 10-12 hours
  • Walking. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances
  • Heavy work. Lifting objects up to 30 pounds.

Job purpose:
Assist with support of sales team efforts to generate new business by helping them with execution of showing equipment thru use of testing and product reviews. Will maintain the warehouse, shipping/receiving, and show room/demo area for use; keeping the area clean and organized.

 

Key responsibilities:

Perform or assist with the following customer sales activity functions:

  • Assist sales team with customer visits and trials and products with regards to rigging and setting up, cleaning/sanitization and tear down of equipment.
  • Maintain control, proper sanitation, and specific information on location of all test, demo and customer scales and related equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and controlled warehouse, shipping/receiving, and show room/demo area.
  • Responsible for Sanimatic/washers, forklifts, scissors lift equipment usage and preservation
  • Responsible for care of chemical lists, SDS, and technical sheets.
  • Maintain storage of customer product list, storage methods and disposal.
  • Produce product sample reports for sales team.
  • Assist with picking, packing and shipping of inventory parts or sales inventory.
  • Palletize, band, prepare various equipment for shipments to customers or MPG
  • Responsible for prevention maintenance, light industrial repairs, painting, daily sweeping, empty garbage and recycling weekly.
  • Support facility management: i.e., safety, WISCON and 5S programs.
  • Other reasonable duties as requested by management team.

 

General responsibilities

  1. Conduct all business activities in a safe and ethical manner. Wear proper PPE.
  2. Safeguard the assets and information of MPA under the knowledge and control of this position. Ensure that all technical developments, data on company operations and customer data are treated as confidential information.
  3. Comply with all government laws, regulations, and MULTIPOND America Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to the responsibility of this position.
  4. Prepare periodic informational reports for management as requested.
  5. Continuously strive to improve your job knowledge, business skills and capabilities.
  6. Set weekly milestones (goals) with immediate supervisor and communicate with your supervisor on a daily basis.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1 to 5 years prior work experience in a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with technical writing, basic sales concepts, practices, and procedures is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers and internal staff
  • Must hold characteristics which show initiative and quality of work.
  • Multiple languages would be a bonus i.e., German, Spanish, French etc.

 

Working conditions:

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and kneel, sit and occasionally climb and balance. The position requires lifting objects up to 50 pounds. The forklift will be used to unload trucks and to move pallets. Computer use will also be required. Specific vision abilities required include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work schedule between 8 am and 5 pm.

Job purpose:

Will handle customer sales activities in a timely and effective manner.  Work closely with sales, applications, engineering groups to perform various duties related to customer sales activities.

Key responsibilities:

Perform or assist with the following customer sales activity functions:

  • Prepare and proof proposals and quotations, maintain historical logs and creation of reporting.
  • Assist Sales Account Managers with any customer follow ups and/or MULTIPOND Germany on sales resources, price list, projects.
  • Assist with preparation of sales presentations and quotations, along with Sales Team tracked price checks for proper margins.
  • Assist with the schedule and setup of meetings and agenda items to customers and the attendance of these meetings/visits.
  • Aid in the preparation and setups/dismantle for all customer visits, trial/testing/FAT setups, and offsite trade shows.
  • Assist with the take and edit video and photos of equipment and products for reference and trials.
  • Expected to engage with applications, engineering, and service groups to provide well round knowledge of how the sales team can make continuous improvements for current and potential customers.
  • Assist with input and maintenance of accurate data within Salesforce (CRM) for sales team: prospective and current customers, project information, overall workflow and processes.
  • Backup for producing product sample reports and other presentations that aid sales team.
  • Backup of customer product list, storage methods and disposal.
  • Backup for managing the warehouse, shipping/receiving, and show room/demo area.
  • Backup for control, proper sanitation, and specific information on location of all test, demo and customer scales and related equipment.
  • Support facility management: i.e., safety, WISCON and 5S programs.
  • Other reasonable duties as requested by management team.
