POULTRY PROCESSOR GOES FOR WEIGHING TECHNOLOGY FROM MULTIPOND
The company’s huge success and the continuous growth this generates means the company group now has to be expanded. Just recently, production was expanded by another hall with three new packaging lines. When it came to choosing a multihead weigher, numerous tests were carried out with various manufacturers. The test results clearly pointed to MULTIPOND.
REQUIREMENTS
The requested project was unique in that each line had to been realized with a different packaging machine to be able to fill the most diverse types of packaging. As the only manufacturer of multihead weighers, MULTIPOND was also able to meet requirement of weighing both fresh marinated goods and also deep-frozen products by a fully-automated process using just one system.
For good reason, then, Valdas Keršys, Maintenance Manager, decided on MULTIPOND for the multihead weighers.
Solutions
Three new MULTIPOND weighers for the fully automated weighing of a broad range of poultry products were acquired for the plant in Vilnius.
The use of the patented surface profile on distribution cones and feed trays, as well as the special feed conveyors with attached mandrels from MCA in France, were huge plus points for KG Group. These effective yet simple solutions ensure a straightforward and controlled conveying of the most adherent products, while maximizing careful product handling.
After the actual weighing process, the accurately weighed portions are transferred to the product transfer system from MULTIPOND designed specifically for this application.
