Solutions

An additional MULTIPOND Type MP 20-2400/1250-H (2×10) multihead weigher for weighing unpowdered grated cheese has recently been installed, for instance. Compared to conventional timing hopper concepts, the combination of weighing system with patented “SB-DSE” high-speed product transfer system achieves up to 40% higher speeds at maximum output. Filling and transfer processes take place at the same time. The “SB-DSE“ also has a reject feature for overweights.

Fromager Savoyard Sas, a family-owned company founded in 1921, specializes in the preparation, packaging and marketing of French Emmental. The company packages around 6,000 to 7,000 tons of cheese every year, although its actual capacity is 10,000 tons. Between 33 and 43 employees work at the factory in Montmélian, depending on the order situation.
