Optimized precision with each weighing process

The company is on track for success with substantial growth and new market development. The Brüggen Poland site, which opened in 1999, has recently been expanded by another cup line featuring a MULTIPOND MP-24-1000-400-H-S5R-UL multihead weigher.

REQUIREMENTS

The requirements profile for the new weighing technology was as follows. The fully automated line should be equally suitable for the most diverse types of muesli, dried fruits or chocolate chips.
Overfills were to be expected due to the low weights of the secondary components. Potential overweights, however, were not to cause the weigher to lose cycle time.

Solutions

MULTIPOND had the perfect solution for this application in the form of the S5R system special variant. Based on a 24-head memory weigher, the outer memory hopper having been replaced by a second swiveling funnel, overweights are prematurely discarded correctly sorted via a reject chute. The weigher can then continue the weighing process without interruption.
