- 1946 – Founded in Waldkraiburg, Germany
- 1940s and 50s – Production of pointer and sliding weight scales
- 1960s – The first automatic scales
- 1970s to 1990s – International expansion with subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, the USA, France, and the Netherlands
