MULTIPOND - Multihead weigher for the packaging industry
MULTIPOND is the sales and service division of the German based manufacturing company ATOMA which has been established since 1946. The first automatic weighing system for the packaging industry was launched in 1963. Headquarters and manufacturing facilities are in Waldkraiburg, Germany, about 65km east of Munich. Beside the global network of sales and service representatives, there are four wholly owned sales and service subsidiaries in the UK, the Netherlands, France and the US.
With more than 2200 ATOMA linear weighers and more than 2500 MULTIPOND multihead weighers sold, numerous companies throughout the world were able to be impressed by the high quality of our weighing systems.
Multihead weigher
Multihead weighers are used mainly in the food-packaging industry, for filling of containers (such as bags, cans or glasses) of packaging machines. Multihead weighers are particularly suitable for this application, due to the precision and the same time, high speed, which can be achieved by ability of combining of the individual heads of these weighers.
