ATOMA-MULTIPOND has completed its range of combination weighers by the new model MP 1612-FF-S5 of the 'XX12/14-S5-series'.
This type meets the most stringent hygiene requirements as all product leading parts as well as all hoppers are made of stainless steel. Each hopper has a volume of 2,55 L and is equipped with twin flaps. This guarantees a clean discharge of even sticky products.
 The weigher was specifically designed to handle deep frozen food and produce like salad or vegetables as well as for making mixtures of ingredients each up to its own target weight.
Speeds up to 130 weighings per minute can be achieved in single mode with one outlet. With a twin outlet two times 100 weighings per minute can be achieved.
Mixtures can be made up of up to five ingredients. Depending on product and target weight speeds up to 70 weighings per minute can be achieved.
The operation mode of this MULTIPOND combination weigher is simple. By means of a swivelling device each of 16 weigh hoppers feeds product into two intermediate hoppers. The computer selects from these 32 partial quantities to make up the target weight.
The 16 weighing systems are equipped with strain gauge weigh cells which are recalibrated automatically during operation. Operation of the weigher is easy due to a lucid operators guide and uncomplicated programming. On a memory card 250 further weighing programmes can be stored. Hoseproofed construction is a standard feature of the machine.
Control is done by 16/32 microprocessors. An integrated printer allows printout of evaluations at any time. To enhance production security, the weigher, especially product feeding, can be monitored by video displayed on a color screen. Reprint free of charge.
